Mission statement
The self-image of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics is reflected in its
mission statement. It was developed by a working group of lecturers, staff and students. The eight thematic areas of the mission statement:
- Personality: We take an individual approach to students in order to promote and strengthen their personality and skills.
- Partner We see ourselves as an independent partner of the economy in education, projects and research.
- Professional field orientation We offer scientifically based professional field-related training with a broad and market-oriented spectrum.
The training is practical and up to date with targeted teaching methods. - Quality and information management We are committed to quality in teaching, research and continuing education.
We offer effective process and information management. - LET (motivation – initiative – team spirit) We expect motivation, initiative and team spirit from all members of the faculty and encourage them.

Joining the Society for Business Administration
The Society for Business Administration (GfB) is an association of former and active students, professors of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics and other natural and legal persons associated with the faculty. The aim is to maintain contact with Coburg University of Applied Sciences even after graduation. Further information can be found here.
