ATTRACT TALENT
Think about the future: Inspire tomorrow's experts today
We offer you a wide range of opportunities to get in touch with our students. The intensive exchange with regional companies and the early practical relevance are important aspects of studying at Coburg University of Applied Sciences. At the same time, you can inspire young people with your company, your expertise and your field of work.
For me, the cooperation with Coburg University of Applied Sciences is a valuable potential for taking our company forward. Gisela Raab, Managing Director of RAAB Baugesellschaft mbH Co KG, Ebensfeld
Cooperative study program: theory and practice hand in hand With a cooperative study program, young people combine study and professional activity. As an employer, you benefit in several ways: the students are performance-oriented, determined and highly motivated. They take on responsible tasks and their own projects in the company during their studies. Graduates have at least twice as much practical and company experience as conventional students. This eliminates the need for long induction periods, complex trainee programs and recruitment costs. There are various models for this, about which we would be happy to provide you with more detailed information.
Connections – the job and career fair If you are looking for talented young professionals or want to give students an insight into your company during their studies (e.g. through internships), Coburg University of Applied Sciences offers you two popular formats. Once a year, Coburg University of Applied Sciences organizes its popular job and career fair “Connections”. Take advantage of this opportunity to present yourself as an employer to our students. Make contacts and present your career paths, give an insight behind the scenes of your organization and inspire young people. In addition, some degree programs also offer special internship fairs for their students. The Faculty of Social Work and Health, for example, organizes an annual practice fair for social work, while the Faculty of Applied Natural Sciences organizes the Bioanalytics specialist and career symposium. Registered companies can reach up to 100,000 young people via the university job exchange of the Bavarian universities of applied sciences. You can even publish offers for theses, internships abroad and doctorates free of charge. You can decide for yourself whether you only want to reach students at Coburg University of Applied Sciences or throughout Bavaria.
Deutschlandstipendium: Inspire talent for your organization at an early stage The promotion of young people is close to your heart? The Germany Scholarship offers you the opportunity to provide financial support to particularly committed students and at the same time establish valuable contacts with the specialists of tomorrow. The scholarship amounts to EUR 300 per month and is awarded for a period of one year. The special thing about it is that half of the costs are covered by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Your investment in the future is only EUR 1,800 p.a.
Working together with students enables us to advance new and forward-looking topics with fresh energy and drive. Lars Meisenbach, Chief Sales Officer of BestSens AG, Niederfüllbach
When selecting scholarship holders, we look for very good school or academic performance, social and community involvement, personal and family circumstances as well as particular successes and practical experience. Your participation gives you the opportunity to support a student in your preferred subject area for a year. The contacts made through the Deutschlandstipendium often lead to working student jobs, final theses or even a career start. With your sponsorship, you arouse interest in your organization and have the chance to inspire the sponsored person for your company in the long term. As a thank you, we will display your logo on a wall of sponsors at our university.
