Central third-party funded projects
Financing the scientific community
Third-party funding refers to financial resources that universities raise from a third party (public or private) in addition to their regular university budget (basic funding).
They are usually made available for a limited period of time for specific projects and are used, for example, to promote research and development, young academics and teaching or the transfer, i.e. the exchange of knowledge and technologies with industry and society.
The public sector plays an important and active role as a provider of competitively awarded funding.
Coburg University of Applied Sciences uses applied science to drive forward projects that offer added value for society and address current challenges in an innovative way.
In recent years, the university has been very successful in applying for funding projects.
