Our drive

The university receives a great deal of support from external partners, and the question of how financial contributions can be made arises time and again. Fundraising is an ideal form of support for suitable topics. On the one hand to promote and realize the goals of the university, but at the same time to pursue the interests of the supporters appropriately. Please contact us to find out how you can support the university according to your possibilities and interests.

Sponsoring

Become part of our events or welcome our first semester students at the start of their studies with a give-away in the first semester bag. Every year, we provide around 1500 students with a first semester bag when they start their studies. We will send you detailed information on request. You can also help us to financially support particularly committed students at Coburg University of Applied Sciences during their studies by sponsoring a Deutschlandstipendium. You are welcome to discuss with us how you can support the university according to your possibilities and interests.

Donations

We have many ideas to make the work of the university even better and more attractive. But we can only implement them with support. Become a supporter. Unfortunately, we will not always be able to guarantee that all the projects presented will be realized in a timely manner. In individual cases, the total funding requirement may not be covered or other framework conditions may prevent implementation. We must therefore reserve the right to use the donations received from you in exceptional cases to implement other tasks of Coburg University of Applied Sciences. Donations made are therefore not collected as earmarked donations. The university is therefore entitled to use your funds to implement its tasks within the framework of the Bavarian University Innovation Act.

  • Simplified proof of donation up to €300 Donations up to €300 can be submitted to the tax office without an official donation receipt using the payment slip from the bank transfer.

  • Donation receipt For donations of €10 or more , HS Coburg will send you a donation receipt by post on request. After completing the donation form , please enter the address to which the donation receipt should be sent. Please note that the donation confirmation will be issued without an earmarking for an individual project due to the stated reservation of use.

Below you will find an overview of the current donation projects.

Donation projects

Against the background of its commitment to sustainable action, the university is also aiming to process and reuse the filament residues. A so-called filament extruder is to be procured and operated for this purpose. A plastic shredder can be used to turn filament waste back into granulate, which can then be processed into printable recycled filament using a filament extruder. The aim of the project is to largely “upcycle” this printing waste and make it usable again.
The Creapolis Makerspace serves as a contact point for this, offering the corresponding infrastructure and introductions to the devices. A professional filament extruder is initially required to implement the project. In the next step, a professional plastic shredder would significantly increase efficiency. The Creapolis Makerspace team will take care of the operation and accessibility of the equipment.

Especially against the background of the increasing digitalization of teaching, workstations where digital formats with sound can be used in peace without disturbing anyone else have become rare. The aim of this project is to expand learning workstations for students at Coburg University of Applied Sciences.
The focus is on both individual workstations and group workstations.
Once a donation of €5,000 has been raised, students will finalize concepts for corresponding workstations as part of study events, which can also be converted or dismantled after a certain period of use in line with a basic understanding of sustainability.
These will be manufactured by a company that has already been won as a supporter of the project.

The university would like to improve the quality of living and learning for its students, especially in the outdoor areas of the buildings on the campus, and make them more attractive. Plans include, for example Greening of areas, design of seating areas, barbecue areas, sports facilities (outdoor fitness equipment or e.g. a chess table, table tennis tables) or book shelves.

Coburg University of Applied Sciences has been supporting committed and talented students for years with the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship.
Funding from federal funds in accordance with the Scholarship Program Act is dependent on pro rata support from private donors.
By making a donation, you can help to ensure that as many students as possible receive a scholarship for one year at a time.

If you are interested in providing a full scholarship, focusing on a specific subject area and, if necessary, contacting the selected student, please contact us. If you are also interested in getting in touch with the selected student, you can find more information on this under Deutschlandstipendium.

None of the projects mentioned appeal to you and you would still like to support HS Coburg financially? Then you are welcome to make a general donation to HS Coburg.
We are happy about any financial support. General donations are used exclusively for academic purposes, i.e. for research and/or teaching at Coburg University of Applied Sciences.
