The aim was to open up the municipal theater to the topics of flight and arrival at all levels of the company in a joint process with the theater’s employees. - Open Border Congress. Münchner Kammerspiele, October 16 – 18, 2015. Kick-off for the conversion project MUNICH WELCOME THEATRE. Idea, concept, development. Artistic direction together with Malte Jelden, with the participation of numerous artists, journalists and experts, funded by the German Federal Cultural Foundation, among others. The aim was to bring local initiatives, refugee organizations and supra-regional actors into contact with each other and to present their work to the public.” The focus was on innovative and forward-looking projects that are committed to the idea of participation, democratization and empowerment.
