- since 2013: Professor of Renewable Energies at Coburg University of Applied Sciences, including as Vice Dean and Dean of the Faculty
- 2008-2013: Team leader of a development group at the solar company Calyxo GmbH, “ramp-up” of production lines to increase the efficiency and stability of solar modules.
