Main research areas

Prof. Dr. Janosch Hildebrand works on issues relating to molecular pharmacology and ageing research as well as innovation management in pharmaceutical development and the health care industry.
In molecular pharmacology and ageing research, his focus is on the development of complex cell culture systems to optimize drug testing and development.
These model systems are studied and combined with systems biology approaches from gene expression, proteome and metabolome analysis in order to identify therapeutically relevant cellular processes and target molecules.
Prof. Hildebrand is a member of the Sensor Technology and Analytics research focus area at Coburg University of Applied Sciences.

In the field of innovation management in pharmaceutical development and the health care industry, he is primarily concerned with the development of digital services for the optimization and control of development processes and the identification of new areas of application.
