Lecture on sexual harassment and violence

“Was that sexual harassment? Or should I tick it off under ‘stupid remark’?
Or should it even be a compliment?”

Sexual harassment and violence are unfortunately everyday phenomena that many female students experience.
They are often very unsettling and those affected do not know how to deal with them – or whether they may have understood it differently.
Our expert Susanne Müller explains the red flags and shows what people can do if they experience sexualized harassment and violence – whether as victims or witnesses.

On November 25, the United Nations draws global attention to this issue with the “Orange Day – International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women”.
Unfortunately, sexual harassment and violence take place everywhere in society, including at universities, and also at Coburg University of Applied Sciences.
We want to bring the topic out of the taboo zone and raise awareness of how we can help ourselves and others.
