Empowerment Days: Setting boundaries – this far and no further
workshop Target group: FLINTA* The 2-hour workshop will provide information on the topics of intimate partner violence, setting boundaries and the local women’s support system.
Further content will include self-awareness of one’s own boundaries and self-care.

The specialist advice centre Frauennotruf Coburg advises and supports women* aged 14 and over, caregivers and professionals in cases of partner violence, psychological, physical, sexualized violence and sexual abuse.Speaker: Employee of the specialist advice center Frauennotruf Coburg (for reasons of personal protection, no mention of names), Keine Gewalt gegen Frauen e.V. The workshop is aimed exclusively at FLINTA* in order to create a safe space. FLINTA* = women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans and agender people.

On November 25, the United Nations draws global attention to this issue with the “Orange Day – International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women”.
Unfortunately, sexual harassment and violence take place everywhere in society, including at universities, and also at Coburg University of Applied Sciences.
We want to bring the topic out of the taboo zone and raise awareness of how we can help ourselves and others.
