Empowerment Days: Victim power – speaking plainly about sexualized violence
Reading by author Nora Kellner from her book
In her book, author Nora Kellner sheds light on the effects of sexualized violence on the lives of women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people (FLINTA*).
She gives an impressive account of what it feels like to fight back and take legal action.
She also shows how painful and distressing the reactions of outsiders to the act can be.
Using her own story, Nora Kellner repeatedly draws parallels to social debates and concrete examples that illustrate how sexualized violence persists and is reproduced in our society. Admission is free.
